Build Your Own!

There are lots of ways to get into renewable energy. One of the easiest ways, is to just go buy things and spend money. This website will eventually have products for sale so products can simply be bought and installed by the customer, or by a licensed contractor.

I Choose Green is a new company and is still mainly in formation stages, but in time, will be able to sell, and install, any of the products sold in our retail stores, or through this website.

Purchasing products, ready made, is easy and fast. But there are many pepole who wish to gradually move into renewable energy, who have mechanical and electrical skills who would like to build their own equipment.

Some equipment can be built with common tools and knowlege and some are more advanced. There is a wealth of information available on the World Wide Web about building your own equipment.

I Choose Green will soon have available books and other reference materials to assist in the process of building renewable energy equipment for a variety of renewable resources. In the meantime, visit our friends at OtherPower.com. Also, visit Forcefield.com. These guys live miles from the end of the power grid and produce all of their own power, whether it be from wind, solar and generators (they don't use generators much anymore, though except for the few times when the wind isn't blowing and it is cloudy!) using homebuilt equipment.
